"wandeling" book

PAGES is an exhibition that shows how 38 photographers currently treams the medium of the photobook

I registered a walk by taking photographs every seventh step. It is not only a literal walk. i follow a route through my head and my heart, in colours like those used by the first humans to represent their surroundings. Arranging these pictures one after the other creates, as it were, a film of stills with moments-in-between. These empty moments represent the lost memories and the invisible time. The act of browsing through the book serves as a representation of walking through time. The book is a measure of time passing by.
